It would be way too much to list all restaurants and places of interest in the immediate vicinity. You can easily check your Smartphone to find something nice. However, we would like to give you some tips. The beautiful coast of North Holland offers many nice beach pavilions where you can enjoy a good glass of wine or an excellent meal after a wonderful walk on the beach. Beach pavilion Hargen aan Zee is the place to be! You can also visit the cozy cities Alkmaar and Schagen. In Tuitjenhorn, we truly recommend “Lekker” and "RuiG".
You should definitely visit the Schoorlse Duinen; a very nice place to go cycling, walking (Breathtaking!) or mountain biking! Of course, not only Schoorl is worth a visit. If you are wondering what to do, you can get some inspiration here.
How about visiting Alkmaar or the always cozy Schagen. These attractive cities are located at only 10 minutes from the Stolpjes. You can wander along monuments, cozy canals, shops, museums and the many terraces and you will really enjoy the beautiful old centre. You can go on board of a round-trip boat to discover the city centre of Alkmaar, or even better: Rent a boat yourself!
