Your stay at the Stolpjes

You can check our availability calendar on the website and make a reservation. The number of persons that spend the night in B&B De Stolpjes must always be entered correctly (under ‘remarks’). The reservation is only definitive upon receipt of your down-payment (50%). It must be paid within 2 days. Upon receipt of your down-payment you will receive a confirmation.

If you would like to bring your dog, you must discuss this in advance. In case you bring children, the age of the child/children must always be entered correctly.

B&B de Stolpjes has two houses. The Stolpjes are suitable for 2 (Stolpje ‘Thuysje) to a maximum of 4 persons (Stolpje ’t Veldzicht is suitable for 2 to a maximum of 4 persons).

Stolpje 't Veldzicht has 1 bedroom with a double bed and a comfortable sofa couch for 2 persons on the ground floor.

In Stolpje ‘t Veldzicht, it is not allowed to spend the night with more than four persons. In consultation, it is allowed to put up a tent in the old orchard. We can also put up a tent for you, in consultation. 

It is allowed to put up a tent in the old orchard for extra persons at an additional fee per person / per night (s. rates).

Of course. Visitors can even spend a night in the orchard. Please, inform your host or hostess in advance.

In principle, you can check in from 03:00 pm. A different time can be arranged in consultation with the host or hostess. Check-in preferably always before 07:00 pm.

Please, inform us at least one day before arrival at what time you expect to arrive and call the host or hostess 30 minutes before arrival on the day itself. Of course, you can arrive earlier to put down your luggage and collect the key. For check-in, please report to the front door of the Wemmenhoeve farm

You can check-out between 7:00 am and 10:00 am on the day of departure. Depending on the occupancy, in consultation with (and after permission from) the host or hostess, a different check-out time may apply for weekend bookings until noon.

On arrival, the host or hostess will hand you the key for your accommodation. You must take care of closing the doors and switching off lighting and stove. When checking out, please return the key to the host or hostess.

Please, be as careful with our belongings as you are with your own. In the unlikely event of the loss of the key, B&B De Stolpjes will charge you €20.

If you use the breakfast service (only by reservation in advance (€14,50 p.p) we will ensure that a delicious fresh breakfast is delivered to you every morning at 08:30 am. If you would like to have breakfast earlier, this is of course possible in consultation.

Bed linen and towels are included in the price. For longer stays, towels and bed linen are changed, if desired. These costs are also included in the price, unless other agreements have been made.

B&B de Stolpjes attaches great importance to hygiene. You will arrive in a good and disinfected accommodation. We take care of that and it is included in the price. Your bed is made with clean bed linen and the sanitary fittings are also clean. We also thoroughly clean the Stolpjes after each visit and before your arrival. At departure, we kindly request you to leave everything tidy and that the dishes are clean and dry and neatly arranged again.

The prices include use of the pellet stove, energy costs, water, bed- & kitchen linen and use of coffee & tea. You can make free use of WiFi, TV and streaming services. Free parking.

You can park your car in the reserved parking place next to De Wemmenhoeve and walk to your accommodation (50m).If the parking lot is full, the host or hostess will designate another place to park. Parking is only allowed for the duration of your stay and is at your own risk. B&B De Stolpjes is not liable for theft and any damage.

Although The Stolpjes are secluded, you are on the edge of a village with a few local residents. B&B de Stolpjes therefore kindly requests its guests to refrain from loud noises in their accommodation. All music – and any other sound – must be adjusted, to prevent noise pollution for other guests and local residents. Between 09:00 pm and 07:00 am, night’s rest is respected. We kindly request guests to take into account noise nuisance at the entrance, the terrace and the adjacent orchard.

We think a clean environment is very important! Garbage must be put in the appropriate waste containers. We kindly request you to deposit empty glassware in the designated outdoor shed. Your host or hostess will clean this up for you in connection with waste separation. There is a separate bin for paper and plastic. We kindly request you to separate waste.

There is a special, safe charger in the house for charging your mobile phone(s). We kindly request you to use it and not to plug your phones into the regular socket. Your own powerbank or original plug is of course allowed, provided that the device is not left unattended (fire hazard). The Stolpjes are built exclusively from wood and natural materials.

It is always allowed to bring your dog, in consultation in advance. Dogs must be kept on the leash, as this may cause inconvenience to other guests. Our own dog Pippi is used to other dogs and guests. Let us know, when you take your dog outside or start playing outside. Thanks for understanding!

Smoking and open fire in the houses are strictly prohibited! Smoking is allowed on the terrace, in consultation, provided that this doesn’t disturb other guests and safety is guaranteed. Attention: The Stolpjes are made of wood and have a thatched roof, so you should be aware of the risk of fire at all times. The Stolpjes are equipped with smoke detectors and fire extinguishers. When smoking outside, the doors and the windows of the accommodation must be closed. No butts on the terrace. Butts must be left in the designated ashtray.
